S.D. Torrens, rider of Walking In Mayo, trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped slightly right throughout.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Riskabahia (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Denis Hickey, Trainer of Thehardandthewild for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Adrian Murray, Trainer of Westoftignes and Chanceitlucky for an additional ten minutes to present his charges for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from P. Cluskey, Trainer of Stormy Jenn for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90

K.E Buckley, rider of Journey So Far, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very free.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Marie's March, trained by Sarah Joanna Connell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

C.M. Quirke, rider of Rebel Cowgirl, trained by M.A.Cahill, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung violently right.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Ian Patrick Donoghue, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of St Denis's Well, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Ian Patrick Donoghue stated that a change of tactics coupled with softer ground today had contributed to the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Eoin G. Kelly, rider of Westoftignes, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the whip regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Eoin G. Kelly was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) The Raceday Stewards suspended Eoin G. Kelly for two racedays.

354D John Lynch Carpets Monksfield Novice Hdl

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Walks In June, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after the second last involving Frankie John, ridden by D.G. Hogan, placed third, Kalypso'chance (FR), ridden by J.W. Kennedy, placed first, and Walks In June, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, placed sixth, where it appeared there was contact between the three. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. G. Hogan stated that he maintained his line. J. W. Kennedy stated that his mount jumped left and when he went back to his racing line his mount overexaggerated and hit the horse on his outside. He added that his mount is very raw and awkward. D. J. O'Keeffe stated that he received a bump but it did not affect his placing. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Steward took no further action other than to advise J. W. Kennedy to react quicker if in a similar situation in future.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr P.J. O'Neill, rider of Phoenix Arizona, trained by John F. O'Neill, concerning his riding in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that his mount had no more to give after the last and that is why he trotted home. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr P. J. O'Neill was in breach of Rule 216 (ii)(b), in that he failed to pull his mount up when it had no more to give or had tailed off through fatigue, and having considered his record in the regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended Mr P. J. O'Neill for five racedays. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Phoenix Arizona, trained by John F. O'Neill, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kir (FR), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

354F Bar One Racing Troytown H'cap S'chase

P. Townend, rider of Quai De Bourbon (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tired and was pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Quai De Bourbon (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

354G Race And Stay Irish EBF Beginners S'ch

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Western Walk, trained by Jonathan Sweeney, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Wingmen, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake at the last fence.

354H Coolmore NH Sires EBF (M) INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Easter Bonnet (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Mr J.L. Gleeson, rider of Churchfield Annie, trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran too free.

Mr P.W. Mullins, rider of Easter Bonnet (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost its action.
